Business Development Manager - Hybrid

They recruit for a Business Development Manager to join their thriving sales team on a permanent basis. You will work in a vibrant Sales Team, reporting to the Sales Manager, the key objective and overall responsibility is to promote the services to "New Logo" businesses across different sectors and verticals. Integral to this is the requirement to build strong and long-term working partnerships. You will become the ’face’ of the company, creating your own personal brand with both prospects, vendors and partners. Communication with senior level management is a key part of the role as is a keen commercial awareness

Job description:
*Strong interpersonal skills with a brand ambassador mindset that exudes gravitas and inspires confidence in face-to-face engagements
*Able to channel high energy levels into a positive "can-do" approach allowing you to repeatedly bounce back after set-back
*Operate sales engagement from "cradle to grave"
*Manage own workflow, to ensure relationship building is main focus
*Book own meetings to develop pipeline business - targeting large Mid-market to large Enterprise organisations with Consultancy/ Professional Services
*Adhere to company best practice, using methodical and structured sales engagement
*Reach and exceed individual sales targets
*Work with Sales & Marketing Management in support of key metrics and objectives
*Work with the Operations Team to deliver an exceptional customer experience
*Liaise with the Services Team to maintain visibility over customer account activity
*Convert technical product messaging into call scripts and position content accordingly
*Fastidiously update the CRM with your activities
*Identify and profile prospective customers
*Professionally represent the brand at all times
*Understand products/services and keep up to date with changes
*Strong telephone and presentation skills
*Must be comfortable in all aspects of ’new business hunting’
*Able to learn new products and services quickly
*Able to understand and navigate customer hierarchy, maintaining good relationships with key stakeholders
*Good team player willing to share information and foster a positive team environment
*Strong commitment to customer success and engagement
*Ability to manage / build relationships with C-suite
*Confident at negotiating with an ability to influence outcomes at different levels of the business
*Flexible with an ability to manage multiple demands and cope with changing priorities
*Embracing of change and new ideas
Skills and experience:
*Proven B2B experience involving solution and service sales
*At least 2-3 years industry experience within cyber security is preferred
*Self-motivated and driven
*Strong commercial awareness & experience
*Work well under pressure and multi-task whilst retaining exceptional attention to detail
*A critical thinker with an ability to troubleshoot & problem solve
*Excellent listening skills and interpretation skills to understand exactly what customers require
*Organised, structured and efficient underpinned by good planning
*Strong time management thriving in a multi-task environment with ability to reprioritise on the fly
*Self-motivated with a strong desire to win
*A commitment to continuous self-improvement and ongoing learning
*Evidence of a flexible, ’can do’ attitude to maximize personal contribution to the role
*Full driving licence
