Job Description:
Purchase Ledger Clerk
*Annual Salary: £24k - £26k
*Location: Edinburgh
*Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Reed Accountancy are currently working with a fantastic organisation located in the heart of Edinburgh seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their busy Head Office. This role is office-based and offers the opportunity to be part of a dedicated payments team.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Processing a high volume of invoices for both weekly and monthly payment runs.
*Recharging supplier invoices to customers.
*Conducting month-end reconciliation.
*Ensuring accurate processing of all transactions within set deadlines.
*Collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient financial operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven ability to meet deadlines with high accuracy in task execution.
*Good interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact within the team and with external stakeholders.
*Experience with or ability to quickly learn accounting software.
