A leading construction business are expanding their team and looking for a Buyer from the Construction Industry
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for Sourcing and producing a wide range of materials for various projects in the Commercial, Retail, Residential and Education sector.
This role will give you the opportunity to be involved in a diverse range of projects
*Build, maintain and improve supplier relationships
*Identify new supplier opportunities
*Negotiate pricing, terms and products
*Manage the supply chain to ensure all materials are delivered to site
*Work closely with the Projects team to ensure they have all the correct materials to complete each project in the time frame
*Conduct site visits when necessary to monitor and assess material quality
*Ad-hoc duties
Your Experience
*Experience in a Buying or Procurement role within the Construction Industry
*Experience with supplier management and negotiation skills
