Pressure Equipment Technical Specialist (PED / PESR)
Birmingham/Remote
£63,000 - £70,000 + 8% pension contribution + Work from Home / Hybrid + 37.5 hours a week + 25 days holiday + Wellbeing package + Outstanding Career Progression

On offer is the opportunity to act as the Technical & Quality Governance focal point for Pressure Equipment (i.e. that covered by PED and SPVD) leading EC and UKCA regulatory activities relating to pressure equipment and for the Technical & Quality Governance for the business.
The role manages accreditations relating to pressure equipment for UK and Netherlands accreditations. As part of pro-active accreditation management, the role will actively participate in relevant pressure committees to ensure the business can anticipate and plan for regulatory changes.
Responsibilities:
*To provide technical and quality support to internal and external customers regarding the delivery of Pressure Equipment inspection services
*To provide oversight and governance of the service delivery processes and procedures
*To provide technical and quality support to the business for new applications or expanded accreditations, approvals and authorisations
The person:
*Membership of an appropriate professional institution: Chartered Engineer or equivalent, or actively working towards such qualification -
*Degree qualified with experience relevant to the pressure equipment industry
