Job Description:
Do you have experience in childrens residential support work?
Are you able to cope well in chellenging situations?
I am looking to recruit excellent support workers to work with vulnerable young people, whose circumstances have led them to be placed within the care system. Experience in care with children or young adults is necessary. This is a very rewarding position which will give you great job satisfaction, knowing you have made a huge difference to the lives of these young people. The work will at times be challenging so experience with behaviour management is a must for this role.
There would be a possibility of you needing to travel to different locations a driving licence is required along with business insurance on your vehicle for transporting the young person.
Various shift patterns available including waking nights and sleep ins
Excellent rates of pay - varying from £14.50 per hour during the day, to up to £18 per hour waking nights, £63 sleep in rate.
The care will be on a 2 - 1 ratio at all times due to the challenging behaviour of the young people you would be caring for.
An enhanced DBS on the update service is required. If you don’t have this we can put this in motion at a charge of £44. You also need to be registered with Social Care Wales.
