Job Description:
Our client, an innovative designer and manufacturer of a range of innovative products across a variety of industries and applications are seeking to add a technically strong Engineering Graduate to their team.
In this interesting, varied role you will be working as part of a small team and wil;l be involved in the whole design process from start to finish allowing freedom for design innovation and having the opportunity to take responsibility for design developments and decisions.
The role will see you contribute to the inventive design for applications including retail, architecture, and film special effects offering the chance to be involved in solving unique real electronic problems on projects that vary week by week working in collaboration with colleagues who all have a passion for technology.
Key Skills Required:
*Programming: Embedded software experience
*Relevant Experience or Degree Qualification: A degree in computer science or engineering is advantageous *Communication protocols: any experience with UART, I2C, RS232, SPI etc is required
*Eagerness to Learn: Demonstrate enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new skills and technologies is crucial in this dynamic environment.
*Debugging and documentation skills
*Communication: The ability to communicate as part of a team.
*Electronics: An ability to read, understand and interpret a schematic is required *Microcontroller Development: Experience with microcontroller development, such as ARM, PIC, NXP, or similar platforms, is required.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
*Electronics Design: Skills in electronics design are a plus, as they can enhance your ability to work on embedded systems.
*Version Control: Experience with git or similar VCS
In addition to the above, the role would suit a proactive, adaptable character with well-developed communication skills, a creative approach to problem solving and above all a keen interest in technology and electronics.
