HGV Class 2 Ready-mix Concrete Driver
Join the leading supplier of site-mix and ready-mixed concrete in the Eastern Region!
As an HGV Class 2 Ready-mix Concrete Driver, you’ll be at the heart of operations, ensuring the concrete reaches a variety of sites and customers across Cambridge. This full-time role offers 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with the opportunity for overtime hours.
Desired Skills & Experience:
*Hold a full HGV Licence with Driver Qualification Card and Driver CPC
*Knowledge of Cambridge roads would be beneficial
*You will need to be enthusiastic, reliable and customer focussed
*Excellent time and communication skills are essential
*Ability to build and retain positive internal and external relationships
*Flexible in your approach and willing to learn all aspects of the business to carry out various duties
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
*Ensure the safe and efficient delivery of ready-mix concrete to various locations.
*Complete daily vehicle checks and keep your truck in top condition.
*Work in accordance with safe practices and legislation with regards to Driver Hours and the Working Time Directive.
*Complete required paperwork with good attention to detail.
*Assist the Plant Supervisor as required.
