SEN Teaching Assistant
Cover People are currently recruiting for a full time, SEN Teaching Assistant in a SEND Secondary School based in Oldham. 
The Role
If you have SEN experience and feel confident to support learners with complex physical needs as well as behavioural needs, get in touch!
The school are looking for a qualified teaching assistant to help and support learners 1:1 in a classroom setting. The school provides a high level of support to children who are on the autistic spectrum, have ADHD and display challenging behavior.
The candidate must have:
*6 months experience working with children
*Experience and knowledge of supporting children with SEN and complex needs
*Excellent behaviour management skills
*Excellent communication skills
*DBS on update register
*References for last 2 years work history
*Up to date CV
The School
The School is a secondary provision for children with learning disabilities and physical needs. They also have children with phsyical needs as well as Autism and ADHD. They require flexible and confident TA’s who are happy to support accross all year groups and has the confidence to support children with various needs. The school has a great team of staff who work well with supply staff. The school is based on the out skirts of Tameside going into Oldham.
