Job Description:
In this role, you’ll manage a portfolio of medium-sized clients, provide strategic financial guidance, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Join a firm renowned for its excellence and commitment to client satisfaction, and play a key role in its ongoing success and growth.
Responsibilities:
*Statutory Accounts Preparation: Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
*Month-End and Year-End Close: Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and precise financial reporting.
*Strategic Financial Guidance: Offer strategic financial advice to clients, delivering insights that support their decision-making processes.
*Process Optimisation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and improve overall efficiency.
*Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure adherence to tax laws and regulations.
*Mentorship: Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
Qualifications:
*ACCA or ACA Qualified/Near Qualified: Demonstrate your professional qualifications.
*Experience: Proven track record in an accounting firm.
*Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
*Software Proficiency: Skilled in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with QuickBooks and/or Xero is a plus.
*Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical abilities with keen attention to detail.
*Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
*Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Remuneration and Benefits:
*Salary: Up to £60k, depending on experience.
*Holidays: 23 days of holiday.
