Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) *Daily Rate: £100 - £110
*Location: DN4
*Job Type: Maternity Cover
We are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our ’Good’ Ofsted-rated school. This role involves delivering pre-planned lessons across Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), including nursery and reception classes. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who is passionate about contributing to the development of young learners.
Day-to-day of the role: *Deliver pre-planned lessons effectively across nursery and reception classes.
*Utilise Read, Write, Inc phonics methodologies to enhance student learning.
*Engage with children to foster an environment conducive to active learning.
*Monitor and assess children’s progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
*Support the classroom teacher with the preparation of teaching materials and classroom management.
*Assist in creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for all children.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Must possess HLTA status or relevant educational qualifications.
*Proven experience in delivering educational content in EYFS.
*Strong knowledge and experience with Read, Write, Inc phonics.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
*Passionate about early childhood education and committed to child development.
