Job Title: Mechanical Technician
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shifts: 3 shifts on a rotating basis, 6.00am to 2.00pm / 2.00pm to 10.00pm / 10.00pm to 6.00am
Salary: £30,000 - £35,500
We are thrilled to work with an outstanding global manufacturing company based in Beccles that, due to expansion, is seeking to welcome multiple talented individuals to their team!
Job Purpose:
Join dynamic team as a Mechanical Technician, providing technical support to the manufacturing unit. You’ll be responsible for carrying out tool changes and machine settings efficiently, ensuring quality production in line with company standards.
Responsibilities:
*Perform tool changes and settings for plastics moulding machinery.
*Conduct fault finding on machinery and report any issues promptly.
*Ensure safety checks and QC inspections are completed accurately and on time.
*Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to company procedures.
Requirements:
*Technical qualification in Engineering or Vehicle Maintenance.
*Proven experience in a technical role, preferably in an engineering environment.
*Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
*Excellent communication skills and a team player mentality.
Desirable Experience:
*Previous experience in manufacturing/packaging.
*Knowledge of blow moulding or injection moulding processes.
