Job Description:
Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a global manufacturer in Herefordshire to recruit a Quality Manager
Salary: £60-70k +bonus, +health care +enhanced pension
Reporting into the General Manager the Quality Manager will be responsible for a team of 7
Duties of the Quality Manager will include:
*Ensures that all employees perform their job in a safe manner, are properly trained and communicated with effectively
*Manage the implementation and maintenance of the QMS against industry standards (AS9100, AS13100)
*Investigate all significant opposing quality trends and implements corrective actions
*Produce action plans for key processes to provide continuing improvements
*Develop and execute specific identified improvement plans for specific products
*Work with other departments to ensure quality is achieved at every stage
*Develops Company processes and new products to meet objectives
*Maintain up to date methods of manufacturing and other operating procedures
*Maintain all company quality systems, procedures and certifications, and ensures that appropriate accreditations are obtained
*Ensure that products are tested to the correct standards
*Own the Zero Defects Program and NPDI process
We would be keen to speak with Quality Managers with the following skills:
*Degree qualified in Metallurgy or Materials Science.
*Experienced quality management
*Skilled in leadership and possess strong communication abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
*Proven track record of implementing and managing Quality Management Systems (QMS) in compliance with industry standards such as AS9100, AS13100 and Nadcap
This role would suit someone with a technical background in metallurgy and a passion for driving quality and operational excellence within a manufacturing setting.
