Teaching Assistant (Year 1) - Primary School in Stockport

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to work in a Year 1 class at a welcoming primary school in Stockport. This long-term, full-time role involves supporting a significant number of students with additional needs, offering a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact.
The Role: *Position: Teaching Assistant
*Location: Stockport
*Class: Year 1
*Responsibilities: *Providing 1:1 and small-group support for children with SEND.
*Assisting the teacher in delivering an inclusive and engaging curriculum.
*Helping to create a positive and supportive classroom environment.
*Supporting children’s social, emotional, and academic development.

*Contract Type: Full-time, long-term.
*Pay Rate: £85 to £88 per day, depending on experience.
The Ideal Candidate: We are looking for someone who:
*Has experience working with SEND children in a school setting, particularly in KS1.
*Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred).
*Is compassionate, proactive, and adaptable to different learning needs.
*Demonstrates excellent communication and organisational skills.
