A highly regarded regional law firm in Kenilworth, Warwickshire, renowned for its excellent reputation across the county, is seeking an experienced Solicitor or Legal Executive to lead its Residential Conveyancing Department. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a personal caseload while mentoring and developing a small, motivated team.
Role Overview:
You will handle a wide range of residential property transactions while taking on a leadership role within the department. This position offers a blend of technical, managerial and client-facing responsibilities, with an emphasis on maintaining high standards of client care and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
*Managing a caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases, transfers of equity and remortgages
*Providing leadership, mentoring and guidance to junior team members to support their growth and development
*Ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining excellent client care standards
*Playing a proactive role in departmental development, including fostering relationships with clients and referral sources
*Collaborating with the firm’s management team to align departmental objectives with wider business goals
Key Requirements:
*Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with substantial experience in residential conveyancing
*Proven ability to handle a varied caseload independently and efficiently
*Supervisory or mentoring experience is advantageous but not essential
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-focused approach
*Leadership qualities and the ability to inspire and motivate a team
