Accounts Semi-Senior
Luton outskirts
£25,000 to £32,000 + study support
Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be partnering with this well-known medium sized accountancy firm with fantastic modern offices situated conveniently on the outskirts of Luton/Hitchin, that are currently recruiting for an ambitious accounts semi-senior to complement their highly successful medical sector department.
Role Requirements -
*With a focus towards clients in the medical sector (GPs, surgeries, and partnerships), prepare year-end financial statements in accordance with FRS102-1A and FRS105 using IRIS
*Computations for corporation tax CT600 returns and peer review before submission to Companies House
*Preparation of superannuation certificates
*Production of self-assessment personal tax returns for manager/partner review and submission to the HMRC
*Preparation of monthly management accounts for clients
*Liaising with clients to resolve/action outstanding queries and with the HMRC on their behalf
*Supporting and reviewing the work of more junior members of staff
Person Requirements -
*AAT qualified and ideally studying towards the ACA qualification, with at least 3 years’ experience gained working for a UK based practice at a trainee or semi-senior accountant level.
*Proficient in the use of various accounting software such as Iris, Quickbooks, Sage 50, XERO, Virtual Cabinet
