Teaching Assistant - Birmingham
Start Date: January
Pay: £85-£95 per day
Contract Type: Long-term
Are you passionate about supporting children in their learning journey? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Birmingham on a long-term basis.
Key Responsibilities As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
*Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
*Work with small groups or individual students to provide targeted assistance, helping to close learning gaps.
*Promote positive behavior and create an inclusive learning environment.
*Assist with classroom organization and preparation of teaching materials.
*Support children with additional needs, including SEN, EAL, or those requiring extra pastoral care.
*Participate in school activities and contribute to a positive school culture.
What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate will:
*Have experience working in a school or educational setting.
*Hold relevant qualifications CACHE Level 2 or 3, or equivalent
*Demonstrate a caring, patient, and proactive approach to working with children.
*Be confident in building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
*Be available for a January start and committed to a long-term role.
