Contract Role - Datacentre Technical Project Manager/Delivery Manager - Contract - Leeds/Manchester /Edinburgh/Hybrid - 06 Months Initial
We are currently seeking a dedicated Datacentre Technical Project Manager/Delivery Manager to oversee the end-to-end planning, execution and delivery of critical data centre infrastructure projects. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful implementation of data centre solutions that meet our end-client organization’s strategic and operational goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven project management expertise and the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders.
Role Overview:
• Job Title: Datacentre Technical Project Manager/Delivery Manager
• Location: Leeds/Manchester /Edinburgh/ Hybrid (2 days per week onsite)
• Contract Type: Contract
• Duration: 06 - 12 months initially
• Sector: Banking
• Must be based locally in one of these locations: Leeds/Manchester /Edinburgh
• Proven track record of delivering complex data centre or IT infrastructure projects
• In-depth understanding of data centre components, including servers, storage, networking, virtualization, power systems, and cooling technologies
• Banking/ Financial services background.
• Familiarity with mandatory tools & methodologies: Jira, Confluence, Prince2/APMP, Agile, ITIL.
• Ability to plan and manage projects, create schedules, and manage resources. A PM should also be skilled in risk management, budgeting and quality control.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
