Butler Rose, public practice is delighted to be supporting our client, a well-established Award winning firm of accountants based in Birmingham that are keen to appoint a skilled and experienced VAT manager.
Role Requirements -
*Act as the central resource for the Firm in relation to all VAT related activities.
*Support clients across a range of client types and industry sectors.
*Develop strong and long-lasting relationships with clients by building trust and through regular communication.
*Build and develop strong internal relationships with Partners and business areas in order to identify and leverage VAT opportunities from within the Firm’s existing client base.
*Increase the external profile of the Firm’s VAT offering, with the support from the marketing and business development team.
*Begin to introduce new clients to the Firm.
*Train and develop colleagues to increase their understanding of VAT risks and opportunities.
Personal Requirements -
*Excellent VAT technical knowledge across a broad range of industries.
*A strong commercial approach to winning and delivering work.
*Genuine ability and desire to build relationships within the Firm.
*Confident and competent at delivering presentations and training.
*Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
*Relevant professional qualifications (CTA/ACA/ACCA).
