Job Title: Functional Skills Tutor

Location: Centre based

Salary: £32,000 

Type: Full-time, Permanent

Duties:
*Deliver Functional Skills Maths and English up to Level 2 to learners undertaking Apprenticeship qualifications.
*Identify and provide additional learning support to learners with identified learning difficulties and disabilities.
*Design and deliver engaging training sessions and provide ongoing IAG to learners.
*The successful candidate will be flexible with their delivery methods, providing differentiation and be able to adapt quickly to learners needs.
Essential Criteria:
*Must be a qualified and experienced Functional Skills Tutor.
*Must have experience of delivering face-to-face learning.
*Must hold own Functional Skills in Maths and English / GCSE equivalents.
*Ability to overcome challenges and support learners to progress.
*Excellent presentation and communication skills.
*The successful candidate must be engaging, and able to demonstrate energy and passion to motivate and teach learners.
*Demonstrate confidence, tenacity and ability to work on own initiative.
