Head of Talent *Annual Salary: £62,036 - £74,834 per annum
*Location: Based in either Paignton or Plymouth – Hybrid working available
*Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
*Hours Per Week: 37
*Weeks Per Year: 52.14

Day-to-day of the role: *Lead the strategic development of talent acquisition, induction, and retention across the Trust.
*Collaborate closely with the Senior Management Team, People Directorate, and Educational Strategy Team to align talent strategies with organisational goals.
*Take charge of professional development within the Trust, working closely with development leads in our schools.
*Influence stakeholders and deliver results through proactive, solution-focused approaches.
*Drive the improvement of educational outcomes through effective talent management and development strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development, or a related field.
*Proven experience in talent acquisition and recruitment, ideally within the education sector.
*Significant experience leading a Learning and Development function, including Teacher Training programmes.
*Strong strategic vision with the ability to align talent acquisition strategies with business objectives.
*Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
