Meraki Talent is partnered with a leading financial services company to appoint a Customer Service Advisor to their Edinburgh team. This is a full-time opportunity offering a salary of £24,000 FTE and a hybrid working model upon successful completion of the training period.
Position Overview:
The Financial Services Customer Representative will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, assisting them with their financial inquiries, transactions, and service needs. The advisor will work closely with various departments to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with financial regulations.
Duties:
*Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person.
*Provide detailed information about financial products and services, including account management, investment options, and loan products.
*Resolve customer complaints and issues effectively and efficiently.
*Process various types of financial transactions accurately.
*Verify customer identities and ensure compliance with security procedures.
*Maintain detailed and accurate records of all transactions and customer interactions.
*Investigate and resolve customer issues related to account discrepancies, service problems, and other financial inquiries.
*Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage loyalty and repeat business.
*Work closely with other customer service representatives and financial advisors to provide a seamless customer experience.
*Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
*Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a financial or professional services environment.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) systems and financial software.
*Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and accuracy.
*Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
