Accountant *Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time
*Location: Barnes, London
*Salary: £40,000-£55,000
An established accountancy practice based in South West London is seeking to expand both its business and its team. We are looking for a qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience Accountant to manage a diverse portfolio of accountancy and tax clients.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Run a portfolio of accountancy and tax clients, ensuring high-quality service and compliance.
*Prepare financial statements regularly in accordance with FRS105 and FRS102(1A).
*Supervise a team, including some qualified staff, overseeing their work and development.
*Maintain and enhance tax knowledge, predominantly preparing personal tax returns for self-employed individuals, high net worth individuals, and possessing a good understanding of corporation tax.
*Utilise Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks proficiently in daily tasks.
*Work with PTP software for various accounting and tax functions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Qualified, part-qualified (ACCA training available), or qualified by experience in accountancy.
*Minimum of four years of tax work experience within a reputable firm of accountants.
*Proficient in the preparation of financial statements according to FRS105 and FRS102(1A).
*Strong tax knowledge, with experience in personal and corporation tax.
*Proficiency in Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks is essential.
*Experience with PTP software is advantageous.
*Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple client portfolios.
*Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising and mentoring staff.
