Job Description:
On-site Shift Coordinator.
Working hours: 10 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday

Adecco is seeking a Shift Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis on our client’s site in Petersfield, Hampshire. We are offering a competitive salary of £25,000 per annum plus additional benefits.
As the Shift Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and effective communication between the associate workforce and the client. With your outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to multitask, you will make a real impact on the success of our operation.
Key Responsibilities:
*Interact with the associate workforce on a daily basis through shop floor walk arounds, ensuring a positive and supportive environment
*Liaise with the client to understand their needs and provide exceptional service
*Utilise your strong Microsoft Office skills to create reports and maintain accurate documentation
*Employ your excellent communication skills to convey important information to the team
*Manage shift planning using scheduling tools, ensuring optimal coverage and minimising disruptions
*Conduct return to work interviews, handle holiday and absence management with efficiency and professionalism
*Utilise your experience in payroll to address any pay queries that may arise
*Contribute to the recruitment process, including assessment centres and right to work compliance checks
*Demonstrate a forward-thinking approach to planning and problem-solving
*Collaborate effectively with colleagues, both as part of a team and independently
*Adapt to changing demands from both the team and the client, thriving under pressure
To excel in this role, you should have strong administrative skills, and ideally experience in payroll, recruitment, and supporting temporary workers in a high-volume environment. A proactive mindset and the ability to work under your own initiative are essential.
