Job Description:
Assistant Company Secretary
We have a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Assistant Company Secretary to join our governance and legal team at Portmeirion Group PLC, an AIM Listed Group, based in the Midlands.
In a friendly and supportive team, you will be responsible for supporting the Group Company Secretary to provide legal, regulatory and Stock Exchange compliance, protect the group’s intellectual property, ensure good data protection practices, support teams in commercial projects and assist the legal team in contract reviews.
Key Responsibilities
*Group compliance with all relevant legislation especially, but not exclusively the Companies Acts and AIM Rules for Companies.
*Assistance with Group Interim and Final announcements and Report and Accounts.
*Assisting with maintenance of the Group’s corporate website.
*Assisting the facilitation of the Group’s insurance, protection of the Group’s Intellectual Property and share scheme administration.
*Data protection and compliance.
*Maintenance of statutory and regulatory records.
*Administration of the Group’s property leases.
*Provide support and advice to senior management across the business.
About you
*This is a fantastic opportunity to work across all of our Group divisions and with management/leadership teams therefore you will need to be an excellent communicator and able to develop positive and collaborative working relationships with colleagues at all levels.
*Full or part CGI qualified or similar.
*Essential to have relevant company secretarial experience within a listed company environment (AIM or fully listed).
*Professional, proactive and hands on approach to getting involved with a wide range of matters to support the business and Board.

Hours: Full time, 38.75 hours per week
