Job Description:
A great opportunity has arisen for an Internal Sales Executive to join a growing, industry leading construction specialist, focusing on a range of high-quality façade / cladding products to architects, designers and contractors. The role is based in Acton, London.
The successful Internal Sales Executive will have over a years’ experience within the construction / building product industry and will be the first contact for new enquiries, keeping an organised spreadsheet of projects enquiries. The Internal Sales Executive will need to keep on top of each new project request, quoting by calling the customer, emailing them and getting updates and making sure all queries from the customer are answered.
Internal Sales Executive Position Overview
*Engage with internal and external stakeholders to drive sales
*Produce accurate and competitive quotes for customers
*Understand and meet customer requirements
*Maintain excellent relationships with suppliers and customers
*Project manage orders communicating with suppliers and customers through to delivery to the customer
*Project tracking using Company software
*Work closely with the existing internal and external sales team to gain new opportunities for quotes
*Liaise with warehouse employees with regards to stock levels
*Monitor client accounts, ensuring goods are supplied in line with the agreed credit limits and payment terms.
*First point of contact for branch telephone sales and service enquiries
*General sales support for internal sales team
Internal Sales Executive Position Requirements
*Minimum 12 month’s experience of internal sales
*High quality verbal and written communication skills
*Confident hands on and ’can-do’ approach
*The ability to provide a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
*A positive team player, with demonstrable ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
*Confident with IT, particularly Microsoft Office including Word/Excel
*Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously meeting the required timescales
*Understanding of and commitment to provide a highest standard of customer service
*Flexibility in working hours
Internal Sales Executive Position Remuneration
*Salary of £28,000 - £32,000
*31 days holiday (including Bank Holidays) rising with service
*Contributory pension scheme
