Job Description:
Commercial Manager that is commercially and strategically minded who has the ability to manage pre and post contract negotiations with working knowledge of NEC contracts is required to join out team at Actemium Automation.
SALARY: starting from £75,000 per annum + Company Car + Benefits (see below)
LOCATION: Hybrid Working with your time split between the office in Birmingham, working from home and visiting other business unit locations (2 - 3 days per week from home depending on workload)

JOB OVERVIEW
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Commercial Manager that is commercially and strategically minded who has the ability to manage pre and post contract negotiations with working knowledge of NEC contracts.
Working as the Commercial Manager you will be involved in the strategic development, client and partner relations across our seven different business units.
As the Commercial Manager you will advise and negotiate if required on commercial contracts, agreements for the Automation Perimeter BUs to mitigate any commercial or contractual risk.
As a successful candidate you will have an eye for detail, the flexibility, and initiative to proactively help resolve legal, procurement and commercial related matters within the business units.

DUTIES
Your duties as a Commercial Manager include:
*Managing, developing, enforcing, and enhancing company policies, standards, and procedures
*Support Business Units in preparation of tendering submissions
*Supports and negotiates contract terms and progressing contract terms to sign-off
*Producing reports and analyses for senior stakeholders
*development and implementation of best practice procurement strategies
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
*Experience of working with internal and external stakeholders at management level
*Working knowledge of NEC contract experience
*Full awareness of negotiating contract terms and conditions including NDA’s
*Ability to provide critical review, and understanding budget controls
*Experience in difficult and commercially challenging projects
