Job title: Construction claims handler - Technical
Salary: £32,000
Location: Glasgow - Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (2 days per week working from home)
PURPOSE OF ROLE 
One of the worlds largest insurers is looking for a technical claims handler to join their team in Glasgow. This role would ideally suit you if you have commercial property or construction/plant claims experience.  
DAY TO DAY 
*Accurately assess and evaluate ’non-complex’ construction claims (training will be provided if you come from a commercial property background).
*Handle claims from end to end within limit of £50,000.
*Handle calls in an efficient and professional manner.
*Updating systems accurately.
*Keeping abreast of industry changes and regulations.
*Building strong broker and client relationships.  
EXPERIENCE 
*Previous experience in a technical/construction or commercial property Claims handling role 
*Experience in dealing with machinery, plant, construction or property claims is preferred, although not essential
*Excellent customer service skills
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
