With over 50 years of house building knowledge, your new company specialises in constructing luxury new-build homes that are both practical and aesthetically pleasing.Projects: Your New Company focuses on developing 2, 3, 4, and 5-bedroom homes and bungalows across Cumbria and Lancashire. Each project is carefully planned to meet the needs of modern homeowners, ensuring that every home is not just a house, but a place to live and thrive.
Your new role
Training & Mentorship: Gain valuable experience and guidance from industry experts to develop your skills.Dynamic Projects: Be part of a variety of projects that shape communities and landscapes.Growth Opportunities: Access continuous learning and development to advance your career.Key Responsibilities:Support the preparation of cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.Conduct site visits to gather data and monitor project progress.Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to manage costs and resources effectively.Maintain detailed records of financial transactions and project documentation.Assist in preparing tender documents and contract administration.
What you’ll need to succeed
Strong interest in the construction industry and quantity surveying.Excellent numerical and analytical skills.Effective communication and teamwork abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software.A degree or equivalent qualification in quantity surveying or a related field is preferred but not essential. - Your New Company will put you through University if needed.
