Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join a dynamic company in Fareham.
In this role, you will manage key financial processes, provide detailed financial reports, and support strategic decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities as Accountant:
*Prepare and produce detailed monthly management accounts.
*Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts.
*Manage balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and monthly journals.
*Produce VAT returns and ensure timely submission of all financial reports to regulatory authorities.
*Support the budgeting and forecasting process.
*Monitor cash flow, review bank payments and manage relationships with external stakeholders.
Skills & Experience Required:
*Proven experience in management accounting, including preparing financial reports and conducting reconciliations.
*Strong knowledge of payroll, tax compliance, and VAT returns.
*Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
*Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
*Strong communication and leadership abilities to work effectively within a team and with other departments.
