Your role as Audit Manager
As an Audit Manager, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of clients, ensuring they receive exceptional service while supporting the growth of the business. Your key responsibilities include:
*Delivering a proactive and efficient service that exceeds client expectations.
*Overseeing the planning, review, and completion of audit and related assignments, ensuring high standards throughout.
*Managing and mentoring a team of junior auditors, providing training, feedback, and support.
*Contributing to business development by attending events, preparing proposals, and identifying opportunities for growth.
*Collaborating closely with partners and other professionals to ensure seamless client service and team efficiency.
What you’ll need to succeed as Audit Manager
*A professional accounting qualification (ACA, CA, or ACCA) with significant external audit experience.
*A proven track record of working with entrepreneurial, OMB, SME, and AIM-listed clients.
*Strong commercial awareness and an appetite for business development activities.
*Exceptional communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, partners, and staff.
*Previous experience managing and motivating a team to achieve their best.
*A detail-oriented approach with the ability to monitor budgets and manage workloads effectively.
