The Role of Group Financial Controller
Reporting to the Finance Director, your duties will include but not limited to:
*Financial lead on leadership team meetings
*Budgeting and forecasting
*Monthly management accounts including the month end close process:
o Closing the sub-ledgers
o Flash reporting
o Accruals and prepayments
o Month end balance sheet reconciliations
o Fixed assets
*Group cash forecasting and management, including group financing arrangements
*Completion and submission of the quarterly VAT returns and other statutory compliance
*Preparing and submitting the annual statutory account and associated tax filings
*Leading the management/improvement of the ERP system
The Candidate for Group Financial Controller
*Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
*Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience, preferably within the Manufacturing/Construction industry.
*Proven experience in financial reporting, statutory accounts preparation, and compliance ideally including IFRS15 and 16
*Expertise in contract evaluation, investment appraisal, and corporate tax matters.
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
This can be a hybrid or largely remote role but you must be prepared to visit The head office which is in Kent once a week
