Job Description:
NJR Recruitment are again proud to be representing our client, an established, prominent independent family-owned Insurance Broker & Employee Benefits Consultancy. Operating from offices throughout France, Switzerland and the UK, our client employ over 1,000 people, have income of around €100M and place nearly €2BN of premiums on behalf of clients.
Our client has an established Employee Benefits teams in Manchester, Redhill and Egham. The team specialise in working across the Healthcare, Risk and the Pensions market. The volume of business is rising rapidly and they now have a career opportunity in Manchester to join the Broking & Projects Team in which the successful Candidate will ensure that a quality service is delivered to all clients in respect of the placement solution for all employee benefits scheme arrangement.
The successful Candidate will be responsible for a large client book, where clients will be a mix of large commercial and corporate and across a wide range of industries. Duties will consist of;
" Build insurer relationships including attending training, understanding deals and strategic partnerships.
" Work with the consultant to understand all broking requirements.
" All new business broking management i.e., current scheme research, preparing the specifications, issuing to market, negotiating with insurers etc.
" Renewal broking management i.e., current scheme research, preparing the specifications, issuing to market, negotiating with insurers etc.
" Management and oversight of all new scheme implementations and support the Client Services Support & Technology teams to fully understand the new schemes
" Technical queries in relation to new business and renewal broking
" Support the Consultant with new business and existing pension scheme reviews
" Results of broking exercise to be included in the report and given to Consultant to complete the Executive Summary and Renewal & Recommendation
" Building productive relationships with providers.
To apply for the role, candidates should offer the following;
" Minimum of 3 years in the Employee Benefits / Private Healthcare Industry
" Ideally offering some of the CII R0 exam, Cert CII, GR1, IF7 and LP2 or working towards
" Ideally working knowledge of the Acturis system
" A Can-do attitude with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
" Ability to work to deadlines and multitask in order to get required work carried out
" Absolute commitment to manage and deliver on client expectations
