Job Description:
Senior Commercial Account Handler
We are looking for a talented Senior Commercial Account Handler to join a dynamic team! If you are an experienced Account Handler with a broad range of commercial insurance product knowledge then we would love to hear from you! Our client is an independent insurance broker located in Bedford .
In this role, you will be an integral part of the Commercial team, supporting Directors and Account Executives to ensure clients receive exceptional service in acquiring, maintaining, and renewing their policies.
The successful applicant will have experience in commercial account handling for a UK-based broker, this experience would be highly desirable, however, full training will be provided for professionals trying to launch their careers in the commercial insurance industry.
Your duties will include:
*Helping to support directors and account executives to hit company targets and smash personal KPIs
*Streamlining document issuance to clients while maintaining close communication with insurers regarding any outstanding documentation
*Advise insurers on mid-term adjustments and process necessary documentation for clients
*Broker new business risks and refer queries to the Line Manager as needed.
*Handle enquiries from insurers and clients professionally and efficiently
*Liaise with insurers and underwriters to identify business opportunities and maintain relationships
Personal Career Development:
*Exposure to the commercial UK market
*Maintain a continuous development plan agreed upon and reviewed by the line manager
*Participate in performance management and annual appraisal systems
*Adhere to standards of personal conduct, appearance, and behaviour
*Attend external or internal courses as directed by the line manager
