Role Overview
We’re looking for enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Primary Teachers to support schools across Huddersfield during the winter term and into the new year. Whether you’re seeking part-time or full-time opportunities, this role offers the flexibility to match your availability while gaining valuable teaching experiences in diverse environments.
Key Responsibilities
*Classroom Cover: Step into classrooms across Early Years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2, delivering pre-planned lessons or creating engaging learning experiences where needed.
*Adaptability: Transition smoothly between schools, embracing a variety of teaching environments.
*Classroom Management: Foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere, ensuring students remain focused and supported.
*Continuity in Learning: Work collaboratively with school staff to maintain learning progression during staff absences.
*Assessment and Feedback: Provide insightful feedback to schools on students’ engagement and progress when appropriate.
Requirements
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Newly qualified and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.
*Experience: Proven ability to teach in primary settings across various key stages.
*Flexibility: A readiness to take on assignments at short notice and adapt to new challenges.
*Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to engage effectively with students, colleagues, and school leaders.
*Enhanced DBS Check: A current enhanced DBS registered on the DBS Update Service, or a willingness to obtain one through Stafflex.
