Our client is a £300m operation who seek to hire a progressive Management Accountant. The role will suit an ACA/ACCA or CIMA studier who is looking for a role that will involve Management Accounts, Financial Accounts, Forecasting and Budgeting and being a Finance Business Partner to the Marketing team.
Responsibilities:
Month end postings, P&L and balance sheet reconciliations to maintain key controls
*Reconciliation of all Marketing and IT accounts and provisions of clear and concise commentary to explain variances with stakeholders
*Contribute to preparation of monthly management accounts and finance reporting pack
*Support for Financial controller & Head of Finance with ad-hoc requests
*Preparation and managing the budget and forecast models inc. Head office functions
*Work with operational teams and relevant business partners to answer any queries
*Monthly meetings with Heads of department to against budgets & forecasts
*Prepare budget and forecast MSBI load files
*Preparation of Statutory reporting (Annual Accounts, Tax, Employee benefits etc..)
*Liaising with external auditors and preparation of audit file for year end
*Management of cost lines within the P&L for multiple business units (inc. stores, head office functions)
*Intercompany reconciliations and close working with Group team
*Month end general accrual and prepayments postings
