Our client in Basildon are looking for an experienced warehouse team leader to join on a permanent basis and keep the warehouse in order.
Ideally you’ll do a night shift Monday - Friday 2am - 11am.
Alternatively you can do bi-weekly shift pattern including 11am-8pm.
Responsibilities:
*Looking after a small team of up to 5 in the warehouse at any time
*Providing training and support to staff as needed
*Overseeing warehouse management systems, ensuring accuracy in inventory control and reporting
*Supervise daily operations and ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards
*Maintain organised environment, optimising space utilisation
*Regular inspections of equipment to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
*Handle heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring proper techniques are followed to maintain safety.
*Collaborate with logistics team to streamline business processes
Requirements:
*Warehouse leadership
*Familiarity with warehouse management systems
*Ability to perform some heavy lifting
*Driving license
