Job Description:
The Internal Exclusion Room Supervisor is responsible for overseeing students who have been temporarily removed from their regular classes. They ensure that students complete their assigned work in a quiet and controlled environment. The supervisor maintains a calm and supportive atmosphere, helping students reflect on their behavior and encouraging positive changes.
Key Responsibilities:
*Supervise students in the internal exclusion room, ensuring they remain focused on their work.
*Provide support and guidance to help students understand the consequences of their actions.
*Communicate effectively with teaching staff to coordinate the work set for students.
*Maintain accurate records of student attendance and behavior in the exclusion room.
*Implement and uphold the school’s behavior policies and procedures.
*Foster a positive and respectful environment that promotes learning and personal growth.
Requirements:
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
*Ability to manage challenging behavior in a calm and professional manner.
