Job Description:
Quest Search and Selection are partnering with this fast-growing, B2B online Publication who are leading within their industry.
As an Account Manager you will join a growing commercial team, focusing on creating and selling integrated packages, including white papers, social media, display advertising, thought leadership content, email marketing, and event sponsorship.
The primary focus will be on establishing new business connections and retaining existing ones within the largely untapped supplier sector.
The roles and responsibilities of this Account Manager - B2B Publication:
*Meet or exceed revenue & KPI targets consistently.
*Researching the marketplace to become a centre of knowledge in all areas.
*Interacting with clients via the phone, video call and face to face meetings.
*BD focused utilising LinkedIn, sales navigator, ZoomInfo and lead generation reports to aid your outreach
*Curious listening and questioning skills- understanding our client’s explicit business needs and requirements.
*Creating bespoke and targeted proposals to meet the needs of your clients.
*Regular communication with your key clients during the events and the agenda
*Accurately reporting pipeline / revenue forecasting (from proposals to pitches to signed deals)
*Making sure return and repeat business and the fourth front of negotiations and proposals
*Accurate reporting of activity via our Salesforce CRM and to line management.
*Represent the business at events with a high degree of professionalism in all client interactions.
Experience and skills required for this Account Manager - B2B Publication:
*Ideally having 2 + years’ experience in Sales/ Account Executive Management/Business Development within a Digital & Sponsorship.
*You must have experience working for a B2B publication
*You must be comfortable with new business delivery and managing your leads activity.
*Have worked in a cross-section of commercial events.
*Ability to negotiate contracts and to maximise profits.
*Strong verbal and written communication skills.
