We are seeking a dedicated Caretaker to join our school in Bristol, providing a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for our students and staff. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, proactive, and has a strong sense of responsibility towards maintaining school facilities.
Day-to-day of the role: *Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of the school premises to ensure all areas are safe and well-kept.
*Perform minor repairs and coordinate with contractors for major repair work.
*Ensure the security of the school buildings by managing access points and monitoring security systems.
*Assist with the setup and breakdown of furniture and equipment for school events and activities.
*Manage the cleaning team to maintain cleanliness standards throughout the school.
*Respond to emergency situations or issues as they arise during school hours.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Experience in a caretaker or facilities management role.
*Good knowledge of basic repair and maintenance tasks.
*Strong organizational and time management skills.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Good communication skills and the ability to interact positively with staff and students.
*A commitment to health and safety standards.
