Interim Finance Manager - Watford (Hybrid)
Are you an experienced Finance Manager ready to take on a dynamic and impactful interim role for an industry leader with a strong international presence? We are seeking a skilled professional to join a Watford-based team on a temporary basis.
About the Role As Interim Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial efficiency and contributing to the growth of a thriving international business. Reporting to senior leadership, you will oversee key financial operations and lead a dedicated finance team.
Key Responsibilities *Lead and manage a small finance team, fostering collaboration and productivity.
*Prepare accurate forecasts and monitor cash flows across international entities.
*Oversee and improve controls, addressing outdated processes for enhanced efficiency.
*Manage and reconcile loan accounts, overdrafts, and multi-currency operations.
*Review journals, reconciliations, and month-end variances, resolving queries.
*Prepare and present monthly reconciliation packs for multiple entities.
*Liaise with auditors to ensure compliance and produce annual financial statements.
About You The ideal candidate will be a qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with:
*Proven experience in international finance and multi-currency transactions.
*Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
*Excellent communication abilities to work across teams and liaise with external partners.
*Previous exposure to enhancing controls and implementing process improvements.
