Client Accountant

A rising independent advertising agency with offices in London and the US are on the search for a client accountant to join them in a newly created role.
With the potential to gain some commercial exposure as the business grows, this is an great next step for anyone with a strong understanding of WIP management and billing.
Client Accountant - The Role
*Understand relevant business policies and accounting standards (particularly with
regard to WIP and revenue recognition)
*Monitor, reconcile, and report on project WIP balances to ensure accuracy and timeliness
*Work closely with account management teams to align on project budgets, costs, and billing schedules
*Handle client invoicing, track payments, and ensure timely reconciliations
*Provide regular financial reports and analysis to clients and internal stakeholders
*Manage the billing cycle to ensure smooth cash flow and timely payments.
Commercial Analyst - The Person
*Confident communicator with excellent attention to detail and an ability to liaise with different departments and agency staff at all seniority levels
*Exposure to Work In Progress (WIP) or billing in a advertising, marcomms or creative business is highly preferable
*Experience in a similar role is essential
*Strong Excel skills is highly advantageous
