1:1 Year 3 Teaching Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Liverpool on a full-time, long-term basis. This role involves providing tailored support to a Year 3 child with attachment and trauma needs.
Key Details:
*Start Date: ASAP
*Working Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday
*Location: Fazakerley
The Role:
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will:
*Build a trusting and supportive relationship with the child.
*Provide emotional and academic support to help the child engage positively in school life.
*Implement strategies to manage attachment and trauma-related behaviors.
*Collaborate with class teachers and the SENCO to ensure consistent support.
*Promote a calm, nurturing learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for someone who:
*Has experience working with children with attachment and trauma needs.
*Is patient, empathetic, and understanding.
*Can work effectively as part of a team and communicate well with staff and parents.
*Is proactive, resourceful, and committed to making a difference.
*Holds a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (or equivalent experience).
