Reed Engineering are currently supporting an established manufacturer in search of a skilled Electronics Technician. This role is perfect for individuals who excel in fault finding to component level, conducting electronics testing, and performing precise soldering to surface mount level. Day-to-day of the role:
*Conduct detailed fault finding and diagnostics to component level on various electronic devices.
*Perform electronics testing using a variety of test equipment to ensure functionality and compliance with standards.
*Execute expert soldering tasks to surface mount level, ensuring high-quality connections and integrity of components.
*Carry out board level modifications and repairs, adhering to technical specifications and quality standards.
*Collaborate with the engineering team to discuss and solve complex electronic issues.
*Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work conducted, contributing to continuous improvement of processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience as an Electronics Technician with strong fault-finding skills to component level.
*Proficient in using electronic test equipment and tools.
*Skilled in soldering, especially at surface mount level, and capable of performing board level modifications and repairs.
*Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to achieving high standards of quality.
