Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Planning Administrator to join our team. As a Planning Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our planning processes and ensuring operational efficiency.
We have a great opportunity for an administrator who would like to be part of a large team working for a multinational global brand.
Our client manufactures, distributes, sells and markets some of the world’s strongest brands in non-alcoholic beverages. It is a leading Western European marketer, distributor, and producer of bottles and can non-alcoholic refreshment.
Job title: Planning Administrator
Pay rate: £14.01 p/hour
Job type: Contract - 1 month
Location: Wakefield (WF2 0XR)
Shift timings: 8AM - 4PM (Mon-Fri)
Duties:
*Act as a vital part of the production planning team, ensuring accurate, efficient plans by collaborating with internal and external teams, and aligning resources with production needs. Proficiency in systems and Master Data input is essential
*Build strong relationships across departments like QESH, Engineering, Process, Goods Inwards, and Production Teams to ensure seamless production planning and execution
*Analyze, adapt, and optimize production plans to meet customer expectations and key business indicators (KBIs), ensuring flexibility and efficiency
*Oversee daily operations of the department, completing all tasks, managing raw materials, and ensuring timely availability in line with lead and conditioning times
*Drive efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness through collaboration with colleagues, stakeholders, and suppliers, using clear communication channels and maintaining high Master Data standards in SAP
*Contribute to key projects, CI programs, and best-practice sharing to enhance line utilization, yield, quality, and CRS targets, providing both administrative and strategic support
*Take ownership of personal and team objectives, with opportunities for development and career growth, playing an active role in driving business success.
Requirements:
*Knowledge of SAP Master Data Maintenance - Emphasis on creation and maintenance of Materials, Production Versions
*Knowledge of MRP routines and the processes that support - Emphasis on maintenance of purchase order info to ensure system accuracy and continuity of supply
*A good working knowledge of MS Excel, SAP APO, SAP ECC
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
*Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
