BMC Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Mortgage and Protection Consultant to join our client who are an award-winning group of financial services and technology companies based in Newburn, Newcastle Upon Tyne.
About the Role
*Salary based on experience - £28,000 to £32,000
*Bonus Scheme
*Full-time permanent position
*Working Hours - Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm (1hr Lunch)
*Hybrid Working - There will be some hybrid working to this role once training is completed

Duties/Responsibilities
*Assess clients’ financial situations and advise on suitable mortgage products.
*Assist clients in completing mortgage applications accurately and efficiently.
*Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the mortgage market and regulatory requirements.
*Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders.
*Provide ongoing support throughout the mortgage process, addressing any queries or concerns.
*Conduct thorough research to identify the best mortgage options available for clients.
*Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations within the financial services sector.
*Write and provide protection advice
About you
*Proven experience in financial services, preferably within a mortgage advisory role.
*Must have your full CeMAP qualification
*Strong mathematical skills with the ability to analyse financial data effectively.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
*Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
*A proactive approach to problem-solving and client service is essential.
*Desirable - Mortgage Advice (CF6) exam and Financial Protection (R05) exam
