Job Description:
BMC Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Personal/Executive Assistant to join our client who are an award-winning group of financial services and technology companies based in Newburn, Newcastle Upon Tyne.
Key Benefits they offer:
*Salary based on experience - £28,000 to £32,000
*Full-time permanent position
*Working Hours - Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm (1hr Lunch) (Flexible with starting hours)
*Hybrid Working - There will be some hybrid working based on the executive reporting into
*Free on-site parking
*30 days annual leave, including bank holidays (increases with length of service)
*Company pension contribution (increases with length of service)

Your Duties & Responsibilities include:
*Diary and Calendar Management *Schedule and manage appointments, meetings, and events for the executives
*Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, and transport.
*Communication *Serve as the first point of contact, handling phone calls, emails, and correspondence.
*Draft, edit, and proofread documents and reports on behalf of the executive.
*Administrative Support *Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
*Ensure that the executive is prepared for meetings with the necessary documents and background information.
*Task Coordination *Work closely with other departments or external parties to coordinate specific projects.
*Confidentiality *Handle sensitive information with discretion and ensure that confidential documents are secured at all times.
*Project Management *Assist with specific projects, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are produced to a high standard.
You will need:
*Experience and Education *Minimum of three years of experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or in a similar administrative role.
*Skills and Competencies *Strong organisational and time management skills.
*Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and calendar management tools (Outlook, Google Calendar).
*Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
*Personality and Attributes *High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
*Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of personalities.
*Ability to handle stress and work under pressure.
*Additional Qualifications *Flexibility to work outside regular business hours when necessary.
*Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to multitask effectively.
