Audit & Accounts Senior - Top 20 Firm
Location: Guildford, Surrey

Our client, a top 20 accountancy practice, is seeking an Audit & Accounts Senior to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to step into a role with diverse responsibilities and growth potential. The position will see you working closely with partners and managers, leading audits, and providing high-quality, client-focused services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead full-cycle audits from planning to completion, including supervising and delegating work to trainees.
- Ensure timely delivery of audit files and maintain agreed-upon budgets and deadlines.
- Participate in statutory accounts preparation, tax compliance, and other ad-hoc services.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, attending planning and close-down meetings.
- Motivate and guide junior staff, assisting with their development and progression.
- Ensure compliance with UK auditing standards (mainly FRS102).
- Identify client needs and provide initial solutions, communicating them to managers/partners.
- Achieve chargeable hour targets and take responsibility for your professional development.

Skills & Expertise:
- ACA or ACCA qualified with a minimum of 2 years of audit experience, including leading audits.
- Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards (FRS102) and auditing standards.
- Proficient in Audit and Accounts software and Microsoft Office 365.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, and work well in a team environment.
