What you will do
A CDS Engineer’s primary role is to ensure that Security Systems we install & maintain across Wales and the Southwest of England are of a high quality and remain in full working order. The successful engineer will install and maintain Access Control, CCTV, and Intruder Detection Systems to the relevant industry standards and with industry leading technical knowledge. We are looking for engineers who can identify and rectify problems before they occur. This is a fantastic opportunity for any individual from an electrotechnical background to work within a high performing team, focusing exceptional customer service. How you will do it
* Provide excellent Customer Service to exceed the expectations and requirements of both the internal and external customers, establishing and maintaining effective relationships with customers.
* Install & maintain the appropriate devices, working safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, and the loss of unused materials.
* Ensuring your time is managed efficiently and jobs are prioritised correctly.
* Correctly complete Engineer work reports, handover certificates or checklist as appropriate.
What we look for
Essential
* Driving license
* Experience within engineering / construction industry
* Ability to lift and climb ladders
* Had or have previous experience working in a customer facing environment
Preferred
* Hold current relevant electrical qualifications NVQ/ City & Guilds/BTEC.
* Hold current relevant safety qualifications CSCS/ECS
* Hold current relevant operator qualifications IPAF
