We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established firm of mechanical and electrical consulting engineers. Your new role
*Develop and design mechanical systems for various building types, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
*Produce detailed design packages, including schematics, layouts, and specifications for mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
*Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical designs with other building services.
*Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure the quality and accuracy of mechanical installations.
*Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
*Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
*Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve design processes.
What you’ll need to succeed
*Proven experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably within the building services sector.
*Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant tools.
*Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, standards, and regulations.
*Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
*Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
