School Caretaker Wanted
Tradewind are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable School Caretaker to join a medium-sized secondary school in Manchester.
Job Details:
*Location: Manchester
*Employment Type: Full-Time
*Salary: Up to £100 per day
*Contract Duration: At least until Easter, with potential for a permanent position
Job Description: As a School Caretaker, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and well-functioning environment for students and staff. You will be responsible for ensuring the school premises are clean, secure, and compliant with health and safety regulations. This is a full-time position with the possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
*Opening and closing the school premises daily
*Conducting routine inspections and maintenance tasks
*Ensuring security of the school buildings and grounds
*Assisting with deliveries and stock management
*Undertaking minor repairs and maintenance tasks
*Maintaining health and safety standards throughout the school
Requirements:
*Previous experience as a caretaker or in a similar role is preferred
*Knowledge of health and safety regulations
*Basic DIY and maintenance skills
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Reliable and able to work independently
*Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as required
*Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
